Mommy Loves To See Hannah Happy

Hannah and Cody are always together.
Hannah loves Cody and Cody loves Hannah
and Mommy loves to see Hannah happy.

Hannah does everything with Cody.
She shares special moments with him.
She snuggles with him when she’s sleeping
and she whispers things from her heart to his.

Hannah loves Cody and Cody loves Hannah
and Mommy loves to see Hannah happy.

Cody’s favorite game to play is hide and seek.
Hannah is happy when Cody is hiding.
But sometimes Cody’s hard to find.

Hannah gets sad when she can’t see Cody.
So Mommy always helps Hannah find him.
Because Hannah loves Cody and Cody loves Hannah
and Mommy loves to see Hannah happy.

Hannah and Cody are always together
because Hannah does everything with Cody.
So when Hannah and her family went to the park
Cody was right there beside her.

They played by the pillars.
They splashed near the water.
They even hid from her brothers in the bushes.
Hannah loves Cody and Cody loves Hannah
but Cody never wears pink dresses.

That day in the park the light was just right
and Hannah’s dress was radiant in the sun.
She twirled and danced and beamed with delight
as she showed off her dress to her Mommy.

After a while Hannah turned to see if Cody liked her pretty pink dress.
But Cody couldn’t see her dancing.
Cody couldn’t see Hannah beaming with delight
because Cody wasn’t hiding he was gone.

Hannah was sad because Cody couldn’t see her;
she was sad because Cody was gone.
So Mommy came near to comfort her baby.
Mommy loves to see Hannah happy.

She snuggled Hannah close while she cried.
She whispered sweet things to her heart
and she cherished this special moment with her baby.

Then Mommy decided to help find Cody.
She sent Micah to look in the bushes
and Jerry to look by the water
and daddy to look by the pillars.

But she didn’t send Hannah to look in those places.
Instead, she swept her hair from her eyes
and kissed her soft cheek
and held her small trembling hands.

She said, “Hannah you love Cody and Cody loves you
and if you go back where you twirled your pretty pink dress
you’ll see Cody’s not gone he’s just lost.”

Hannah was scared and felt sad and alone
and wasn’t sure she would ever find him.
But she knew that her Mommy was right by her side
and thought Mommy must know what is best.

So Hannah went back where she’d twirled and laughed.
She looked around and tried to see Cody
because sometimes he’s hard to find.

Then Hannah saw Cody in the shadow of the arch,
right where she’d left him behind.
Her tears were replaced with joy and a smile
because Cody wasn’t lost he was hiding.

So she swept Cody up and ran down the hill
back to where Mommy was waiting.
She danced and twirled her pretty pink dress
while laughing and beaming with delight.

And Mommy scooped up her baby while she was clutching Cody
and held her real close to her heart.
Because Hannah loves Cody and Cody loves Hannah
and Mommy loves to see Hannah happy.
